The Daily Illini

Joseph Longo

I'm a sophomore majoring in journalism from Chicago (both the city and the suburbs). Prior to being assistant news editor, I worked as a general assignment reporter. Later, I covered the crime beat where I developed an interest in data-driven, investigative reporting. When not working, I'm stay updated on all thing cinema and culture, specifically music festivals and award shows.
