A man walking west on Gregory Drive near the Undergraduate Library at the end of finals week was approached from behind and commanded to empty his pockets, according to a crime alert e-mail University Police sent Saturday.
The incident occurred at about 11:05 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18. According to the report, the offender said he had a gun, then instructed the victim to empty his pockets and run away. The victim complied and was not hurt.
This armed robbery occurred as the fifth incident on campus in a week, which began with a robbery at 4 a.m. Dec. 11.
University Police say they are continuing to investigate all these cases.
