Champaign

An 18-year-old male was arrested on multiple charges in the 700 block of Harvard Street around 5 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, during a traffic stop for disobeying a stop sign, the driver was found to be in possession of cannabis. The offender was charged with possession of cannabis and a traffic sign violation.

Theft was reported at The Red Lion, 211 E. Green St., around 8 p.m. Monday. According to the report, officers responded to a report in which one purse filled with three IDs, two credit cards and one gift certificate was stolen.

Vehicle theft was reported in the 900 block of South First Street around 9 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report, a vehicle was reported stolen after the victim lost their key.

A 23-year-old female was arrested on the charge of driving under the influence of alcohol near the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Hill Street around 3 a.m. Wednesday. According to the police report, the suspect is a U of I student and was initially stopped because she was speeding.  

Urbana

An unknown offender threw a piece of asphalt through a window at Subway, 802 W. University Ave., around 10:45 p.m. Monday. According to the police report, the asphalt caused the outside window pane to break.
