Garth Brooks ticket portal crashes, to re-open Thursday

Garth Brooks tickets are in hot demand and on Friday, the State Farm Center suspended the online ticket sales due to a high demand on the ticketing system.
The new sale date is set for Thursday at 10 a.m. Tickets that were purchased before the suspension are still valid.
Brad Swanson, assistant director of marketing and sales for the State Farm Center, said in an email that the issue has been identified and resolved.
“We experienced a technical issue due to the massive demand our system encountered,” Swanson said.
Garth Brooks is set to perform at the State Farm Center on April 28 and 29.
