Fraud was reported on the 2900 block of Helen Court around 1 p.m. Wednesday. According to the report, the unknown offenders forged business checks and cashed them out of state.

A lost article was reported on the 600 block of Goldenview Drive around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. According to the report, the victim reported his handgun was lost or potentially stolen from his garage; he had not seen the gun in over a year.

Burglary from a motor vehicle was reported on the 500 block of West Kirby Avenue around 2:30 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, the victim reported the window of his car was broken and his wife’s purse was taken out of it.

University

Theft was reported at Grainger Engineering Library, 1301 W. Springfield Ave., Friday. According to the report, a student’s bicycle, with an estimated value of $200, was locked to a rack and stolen.

Urbana

Theft was reported on the 900 block of Green Street around 4 p.m. Thursday. According to the report, an unknown offender stole a victim’s bicycle that was locked up.

Theft was reported at Lincoln Square Mall, 201 Lincoln Square, around 6 p.m. Thursday. According to the report, an unknown offender stole a bicycle that was locked up.
