For the ninth year, the University YMCA will be hosting its Dump & Run Garage Sale at the U of I Stock Pavilion.

For the ninth year, the University YMCA will be hosting its Dump & Run Garage Sale at the U of I Stock Pavilion. The sale is to take place Aug. 21-22. The event is sponsored by the University YMCA and the International Student and Scholar Services at the University of Illinois. The sale and collections will be at the U of I Stock Pavilion, 1402 W. Pennsylvania Ave. in Urbana, across the street from the cemetery and three blocks east of Memorial Stadium.

According to a press release, the sale is held to collect reusable items that students would otherwise dispose of as they move out, and then sell the items. This program is held to reduce litter saves landfill space, lower dumping costs for certified housing units, and provide inexpensive items for students to purchase.
