The Daily Illini

Jean Kang
I'm a senior in broadcast journalism with a concentration of astronomy and gender & women's studies minor. I was born and raised in Chicago, but moved to the suburbs during high school (I still have my 773 area code and my Chi-town pride). I started working at the DI as a videographer and now I'm the video editor. I strive to become a reporter or producer at a news station. Besides journalism, I have a passion for the arts, culture, social justice and adventure. My other biggest involvements on campus, besides the DI, are the climbing club and volunteering at Planned Parenthood. I am a big dog lover and I love being outdoors. [email protected]
