University opens two new campus testing locations

By Aliza Majid, Staff Writer

The University has opened two additional testing sites on campus at the Student Dining and Residential Programs Building and Illinois Street Residence Hall, according to a Massmail sent Tuesday.

Both will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There are now 17 testing sites open across campus with a full list available here.

Students, faculty and staff who are already on campus or aren’t moving into a University residence hall are advised to avoid testing at the State Farm Center this week as it will be used for University Housing Move-In.

Before taking the test individuals should refrain from eating, drinking, brushing teeth, mouth washing, chewing gum, and tobacco use for one hour before submitting their sample.
