Champaign County Clerk Mark Shelden held the final canvass, in which all remaining votes are counted, today at 2:00 p.m.

Absentee Ballots postmarked on time and accepted Provisional Ballots were counted.

The only election close enough to be affected by the final canvassing did not change. Competitors seeking the final seat on the Unit 4 School Board were separated by three votes after election night. After the canvassing, Lynn Stuckey trailed frontrunner Stig Lanesskog by two votes.

Lanesskog was one of seven people competing for three seats on the board.
