On Saturday, the Champaign County Crime Stoppers will hold its first “Shred-It,” an event held for community members to shred any personal financial paperwork.
The event will take place Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon at the corner of First Street and Kirby Avenue. Crime Stoppers suggests a $5 donation for using the service. The shredding equipment used will be from Shredz, a local shredding company that will have personnel on site to properly dispose of paperwork.
