Two pieces of artwork were stolen from outside the Native American Studies building, 1206 W. Nevada St., early Saturday morning, according to University police reports.
The artworks resemble metal signs and were stolen between 2:13 a.m. and 2:28 a.m. Saturday morning, according to video evidence. Images of the suspect can be viewed at the Department of Public Safety’s Web site.
The suspect is a college-age white male who was wearing a dark T-shit and dark shorts, according to a University massmail sent by Barbara O’Connor, executive director of public safety and chief of University Police.
Calls to University police were not immediately returned.
