Champaign Police arrested a man for an alleged aggravated battery incident that occurred on Sept. 14 at the 400 block of East John Street.
According to the press release, on Sept. 14, a 22-year-old male was lying on the ground unconscious when police arrived on the scene. The victim said he was pushed to the ground and punched, prior to being knocked unconscious.
After a month long investigation, police questioned a 21-year-old male about the incident Wednesday morning. He was then arrested in connection to the aggravated battery incident, according to the press release.
