Champaign

A 48-year-old man reported burglary from his motor vehicle Tuesday afternoon at the 1100 block of Foothill Drive.

According to a police report, an unknown suspect cut the convertible top of the victim’s vehicle and stole five dollars in change.

A 36-year-old woman reported criminal damage to her residence Tuesday afternoon at the 1300 block of Fairfax Drive.

According to a police report, the victim heard noise in the back bedroom and found a broken window upon inspection. No suspects were determined at the time of the report.

A 20-year-old Urbana woman reported forgery Monday at the 100 block of West Green Street.

According to a police report, an unknown suspect forged her checks at various locations in Champaign. A 23-year-old Urbana man and a 20-year-old woman have been noted as offenders in connection with the forgery.

A 21-year-old Mansfield, Ill., man reported a theft Monday afternoon at the 500 block of East Healey Street.

According to a police report, an unknown suspect took the victim’s Red Giant Iguana bike from a bike rack.

Mobil Super Pantry, 1503 N. Neil St., reported deceptive practices at its store Monday afternoon.

According to a police report, a customer attempted to pay for gas using a counterfeit $20 bill. The customer left the store and had not been located at the time of the report. Police identified a 40-year-old woman in connection with the incident.

A 41-year-old Urbana woman was arrested for driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license early Sept. 25 at the corner of Bradley Avenue and Market Street.

According to a police report, the woman was stopped for an improper turn at the corner and was also issued a ticket.

A 23-year-old man was arrested for noise prohibition Tuesday at the 1800 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue.

According to a police report, the man was arrested and issued a notice to appear in court for a loud noise violation.

A 21-year-old man reported criminal damage to his property early Wednesday morning at the 800 block of West Stoughton Street.

According to a police report, an unknown offender smashed the windshield of the victim’s vehicle. No arrests were made at the time of the report.

The Urbana Park District reported theft from one of its motor vehicle Wednesday at the 400 block of West Indiana Avenue.

According to a police report, an unknown offender removed a camera from the truck while an employee was working in another area of the park. The truck was left unlocked.
