In the Oct. 17 of The Daily Illini, the headline on page A-7 reading “White Sox blow really hard” was incorrect and left as placeholder text while waiting for a finalized headline. The headline should have read “Southsiders head to Series.”

In the Oct. 14 edition of the Daily Illini, a story on page B-3 incorrectly identified the sponsor of the 2005 USTA Challenger of Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. The tournament was listed as the Northwestern Mutual/Wright Financial Group USTA Challenger. The tournament’s official title is the 2005 USTA Challenger of Champaign-Urbana, Illinois.
