The following businesses, facilities and services will be CLOSED on Tuesday, February 13:

Schools

  • University of Illinois (Tuesday and Wednesday)
  • Champaign Unit 4 schools and after-school programs (Tuesday and Wednesday)
  • Urbana Unit 116 schools and after-school programs (Tuesday and Wednesday)
  • University High School (Tuesday and Wednesday)
  • Parkland College
  • Eastern Illinois University
  • University of Illinois at Springfield
  • Milikin University
City Buildings

  • Campus Rec programs, including Learn-to-swim classes
  • Champaign City Building
  • Urbana City Building
  • Champaign County Courthouse
  • Champaign-Urbana Public Health District
  • Champaign Public Library, Douglass Branch and the Bookmobile
  • Urbana Free Library (please do not return books to outdoor books drops)
  • Champaign County Chamber of Commerce. All events are cancelled.

  • The University of Illinois has cancelled classes. Essential personnel must still report to work.
  • IMPE and CRCE will be closed at 4 p.m.
  • MTD bus routes will end today at 7 p.m. SafeRides will not run.

  • Snow emergency routes are in effect. Remove cars from streets or they will be plowed.
  • People are advised not to travel. Champaign County has suspended plowing until conditions clear. If stranded, stay in your car.
