DANVILLE, Ill. (AP) – Divers searching for a pair of missing teenagers have found two bodies in a detention pond in Danville.

Vermilion County Coroner Peggy Johnson says divers from the sheriff’s department found the bodies early Tuesday. She says her office has the bodies but hasn’t identified them.

Autopsies are planned.

The missing teens are 14-year-old Lorel Harden and 13-year-old Dierra Shawn Phillips. Both are from Danville, which is on the Illinois-Indiana border about 45 miles east of Champaign. The two have been missing since mid December.

Further information wasn’t immediately available.
