Champaign — A 21-year-old man was arrested at the 1100 block of Dorsey, Saturday night. According to the police report, the suspect refused to obey a lawful order and resisted arrest.

-Two 18-year-old men were arrested at the 700 block of West Springfield Avenue, Saturday night.

According to the police report, the offenders burglarized an apartment and stole food, electronics and other items. All property was recovered.

-A 25-year-old man was arrested at the 1500 block of Kiler, Saturday afternoon.

According to the police report, the suspect was arrested on an outstanding warrant and was found to have several other warrants under alias names.

-Residential burglary was reported at the 400 block of South State Street, Saturday afternoon.

According to the police report, an unkown offender burglarized the victim’s apartment and stole 47 inch plasma television, a gold watch, leather coats and other electronics.

-A 22-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman were arrested at the 2600 block of North Prospect Avenue, Friday afternoon.

According to the report, two shoplifters were arrested and taken to jail.

University

-Theft was reported at Hopkins Hall, 1208 S. First St., between May 8 and 10.

According to the police report, a bicycle valued at $70 was stolen from the racks outside the building.

-A 20-year-old man and a 23-year-old man were arrested at the Chemistry Annex, 601 S. Mathews Ave., early Friday morning.

According to the police report, the men were arrested on charges of attempted burglary and possession of burglary tools after police observed one of the man climbing the fire escape on the west side of the building.

-Theft was reported from a room at Snyder Hall, 206 E. Peabody Dr., sometime before 1 p.m. Thursday.

According to the police report, a tablet computer valued at $1,200 was stolen.

-A 27-year-old man was arrested near the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Western, Wednesday afternoon.

According to the police report, the man was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

-Theft was reported at Pennsylvania Avenue Residence Halls, 906 W. College Court, sometime between 7 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Monday.

According to the police report, two laptops, an external hard drive, two textbooks and cash was stolen from a residence hall. The total estimated amount stolen was over $1,600.

-A 26-year-old man was arrested at the University parking lot C-7, 801 S. Sixth St, early Wednesday morning.

According to the police report, the man was issued a city citation for driving under the influence of alcohol, breath alcohol over the legal limit and improper lane usage.
