Susumu Tonegawa, winner of the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine in 1987, will be the keynote speaker at the Beckman Institute’s 20th Anniversary Symposium, which will take place October 5-7.
Tonegawa is currently the Picower Professor of Biology and Neuroscience, Departments of Brain and Cognitive Sciences and Biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
The 20th Anniversary Symposium is a tribute of the Beckman Institue and will have lectures and discussions about the beginnings, history and future of research at the Institute. Additional speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.
