Campus Property Management reported criminal damage to property at the 100 block of East Chalmers Street, Sunday morning. According to the police report, an unknown suspect damaged a front door lock on an apartment.

Aggravated robbery and battery were reported at Taco Bell, 1910 W. Springfield Ave., Sunday morning. According to the police report, an unknown offender robbed the store with a gun.

A 24-year-old man reported burglary from a motor vehicle at the 300 block of Hessel Boulevard, Friday morning. According to the police report, the victim reported that his vehicle was broken into during the night and his wallet was stolen.

A 65-year-old man was issued a notice to appear at 300 block of East Hill Street, Tuesday, July 28. According to the police report, the man’s dog got outside of his fenced yard, ran across the street, and bit another dog.

A 66-year-old Elgin man reported theft at the 300 block of South Second Street, Sunday morning. According to the police report, a 51-year-old woman at that address has been using the debit card to obtain money from him.

Urbana

Attempted theft was reported Schnucks, 200 N. Vine St., Sunday evening. According to the police report, a 24-year-old woman attempted to leave the store without paying for various items, including candy, cosmetics and cheese.

Domestic battery was reported at the 300 block of East Mumford Drive, Sunday evening. According to the police report, a 55-year-old man and 55-year-old woman became involved in a verbal argument while extremely intoxicated. Although there was no evidence of physical contact, the woman was taken to the hospital due to her level of intoxication.

University

A 28-year-old man was arrested on charges of driving on a suspended drivers license at West Springfield Avenue and South Wright Street, Sunday night.

An iPhone was stolen from the Activities and Recreation Center (ARC), 201 E. Peabody Drive., Friday evening.

A 21-year-old man was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol and disobeying a traffic signal at West Green Street and South Coler Avenue, early Saturday morning.

A 25-year-old woman and 28-year-old man were arrested at parking lot D-15, 1201 W. Oregon St., Saturday night. According to the police report, the woman was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance. The man was arrested on charges of possession of cannabis under 30 grams and possession of drug equipment.

A 20-year-old woman was issued a notice to appear for a minor in possession of alcohol at the 700 block of South Sixth Street, early Saturday morning.
