Four police cars, two ambulances and one fire truck responded to an automobile accident that occurred at the intersection of First and Green streets Thursday night.
“(There was) an accident involving two vehicles and there was someone who had to be removed from under one of
the vehicles,” said Champaign Police Department, Sgt. Aaron Lack. “She was concious and beyond that I have no further information at this time.”
Kindra Chambliss, Champaign resident and Super pantry employee, said a speeding white car collided with a green pickup truck, which then hit the stop light.
