Welcome Week at the University continues as Center events take place.

Tuesday marked the start of the Food For Thought event held at the Asian American Cultural Center, 1210 W. Nevada St. in Urbana. Food For Thought is held every Tuesday at 12 p.m. to discuss identity, cultural traditions and social issues in Asian American society.

LGBT is hosting an Open House Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the LGBT Resource Center, 323 Illini Union.

Other events being held this week include the Latina/o Dinner at La Casa Cultural Latina, 1203 W. Nevada St. in Urbana, on Thursday.

Also on Thursday, the Women’s Resources Center, 703 S. Wright Street in Champaign, will be celebrating the 90th Anniversary of women’s right to vote from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
