  • A 19-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were arrested at the corner of Second and Armory streets on Wednesday. According to the report, the two were issued notices to appear in court for being minors in possession of alcohol.
  • Credit card fraud was reported at the 500 block of East Green Street on Wednesday. According to the report, a suspect used a fake credit card to purchase a computer.
  • A 22-year-old man was arrested at the 700 block of South First Street on Wednesday. According to the report, the man was arrested for residential trespassing and disorderly conduct.
  • Credit card fraud was reported at the 500 block of East Green Street on Wednesday. According to the report, a suspect took merchandise.
  • Credit card fraud was reported at the 500 block of East Green Street on Wednesday. According to the report, a suspect used a fake credit card to purchase a computer, electronic equipment and a mini stereo and accessories.
  • A 19-year-old woman and 20-year-old woman were arrested at the corner of Sixth and Green Street on Thursday. According to the report, the women were arrested for aggravated battery.

Urbana

  • Theft over $300 was reported at the 2000 block of Vawyter Street on Wednesday.
  • According to the report, when the victim was packing up her property to move, her purse and currency came up missing.
  • Burglary from a motor vehicle and residential burglary was reported at the 500 block of East Harding Drive. According to the report, an unknown offender entered the victim’s garage and car and stole items.
  • Burglary from a motor vehicle was reported at the 100 block of West Mumford Drive on Wednesday. According to the report, an unknown offender entered the victim’s vehicle without asking permission to do so.
  • An animal bite was reported at the 500 block of West Elm Street on Wednesday. According to the report, the victim awoke to find a bat in her apartment.

University

  • Theft was reported at Noyes Labatory, 505 S. Mathews in Urbana, sometime between 1 and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. The student said she left her laptop computer near her work station in the lab, and then found it missing when she left.
