The Virginia Theater will host the 13th annual Roger Ebert’s Film Festival, better known as Ebertfest, from April 27 through May 1. Tickets for the event go on sale Monday, Nov. 1.
The festival will include 12 screenings of films critic Roger Ebert feels have been overlooked by audiences, critics and distributors, according to the press release.
Ebert is a 1964 graduate of the University and will host the event alongside his wife.
Passes for the five-day event will cost $135. Individual film admission will be $13 and $11 for students. There are 1,000 tickets available. The film line-up will be announced in the weeks before the event.
Tickets can be purchased through TicketWeb, at www.ebertfest.com or at the Bresnan Meeting Center, 706 Kenwood Road, Champaign.
