Christie Clinic welcomes newest addition to Department of Endocrinology

Christie Clinic welcomed Ann Vannice on board the Department of Endocrinology as she begins working with patients.

“Christie Clinic continues to recruit the best to the area,” said Alan Gleghorn, Christie Clinic’s Chief Executive Officer, in a press release. “So we can provide our patients with medicine for their lives.”

Vannice treats adult diabetic patients in the Department of Endocrinology. She focuses on early assessment, intervention and education in order to promote healthy lifestyles.

Vannice earned her bachelor’s degree in dietetics at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind. She earned a master’s degree in human performance technology at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston and a master’s degree in nursing through the geriatric nurse practitioner preparation program from the University of Illinois at Chicago in Urbana.

For 80 years, Christie Clinic has provided health care to the residents of central Illinois and is known as the oldest multi-specialty medical group practice in that region.
