Governor Pat Quinn presented programs that stand to benefit Veterans, service members and their families during an even in Chicago.
Quinn was joined by the Illinois National Guard, USO of Illinois and the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs.
According to a press release, programs include Helmets to Hardhats, the Illinois Military Family Relief Fund, Operation Support Our Troops and Operation Hero Miles.
