The Student Playwrights Outreach Theatre, or SPOT, will be putting on their annual show at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts on February 17th.
Fourth and fifth grade students from Booker T. Washington Elementary School will write stories and team up with the UI Department of Theatre to bring them to life. According to the school, there are a wide range of stories that will keep both children and adults entertained.
The show starts at 7 p.m. and is free to the public.
“This is a great opportunity for students to see their work brought to life,” said Nikia Kyles, office manager of Booker T. Washington Elementary.
