Anasazi String Quartet to perform at indi go Artist Co-Op

The Anasazi String Quartet — the graduate quartet in residence at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign — will perform at the indi go Artist Co-Op at 8 p.m. Friday.

The Anasazi String Quartet — composed of members Veronica Pigeon, Amanda Ramey, Kelly Moore and Samuel Araya — has been playing together since the fall of 2009. Praised by audiences for their passionate and engaging performances, the quartet has been active on campus, performing in the Beckman Institute Atrium earlier this month.

The indi go Artist Co-Op was opened in April 2009 under the belief that “Visual Space Has Essentially No Owner.” It operates as a gallery, music venue and performance space for artists, musicians and performers in the Champaign-Urbana area. For more information about their event you can check out the co-op’s “Facebook page”:http://www.facebook.com/pages/Indi-Go-Artist-Co-Op/90553567092 or visit the webpage at indi-go-art.com.

Cost for admission is $10 for adults and for $5 students and artists. The event is located at 9 E. University Ave.
