European movie to be screened on campus

The European Union Center will be hosting a European movie night. At this event, it will screen a Belgian movie Wednesday at 5:15 p.m. The movie will be held at the Lucy Ellis Lounge located in the Foreign Language Building. Everyone is welcome to join the movie night, which is open to the public.

The movie, titled “The Prophet,” will be played with three different languages including French, Arabic and Corsican. The story is about a nineteen-year-old boy named Malik El Djebena who has spent his last six years in prison. While he wants to serve his remaining time in peace, the conflict between the Muslims and the Corsicans is hard to avoid for Djebena.

The sponsor of the event will be the European Union Center.
