Police blotter Feb. 20, 2014

Champaign

—Theft was reported near Fourth Street and Gregory Drive around 9 a.m. Sunday.

According to the report, the victim lost his iPhone last week and discovered it had been sold on Craigslist.

—A 36-year-old male was arrested on the charges of resisting an officer, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving on a revoked license and having expired registration near the intersection of West Green and Prairie streets around 2 p.m. Monday.  

According to the report, police tried to stop the man during a traffic stop and he fled on foot. The man was then caught and arrested.

—Burglary was reported in the 1000 block of South First Street around 2 p.m. Monday.

According to the report, an unknown subject broke into an internet server box and stole equipment.

Urbana

—Burglary from a motor vehicle was reported in the 500 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue around 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

According to the report, an unknown offender entered an unlocked vehicle parked in an alley behind her residence. The offender stole multiple valuables.

—Theft was reported in the 600 block of West Elm Street around 11 a.m. Tuesday.

According to the report, an unknown offender took two computer accessories from outside the apartment complex.   

—Domestic dispute was reported in the 1200 block of East Main Street around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday.

According to the report, the victim and offender are dating and live together. They called 911 to resolve their dispute but denied assistance when police arrived.
