Body found in Champaign

The body of a deceased male was found Sunday in an alley by 40 E. University Ave., near the Illinois Terminal. Flavio Robert De Paz, 42, was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:24 p.m.
His body was discovered by University students who were taking photos in the area, according to a press release by the Champaign County Coroner sent out Tuesday morning.
The autopsy was performed Tuesday at the Champaign County Coroner’s Regional Autopsy Facility located in Urbana.
The final autopsy results are pending toxicology testing. Paz’s death is being investigated by the Champaign Police Department and the Coroner’s Office.
