An arrest was made on the charge of theft at Circle K, 1301 S. Neil St., around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report, two offenders took several merchandise items from the store, passing all final points of checkout. They were located and identified by a store employee.

Burglary was reported on the 2100 block of Doubletree Lane around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report, the victim’s wallet was stolen from his unlocked vehicle while he was working.

Theft was reported on the 1800 block of South Neil Street around 7 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report, the victim’s vehicle, as well as everything inside it, was stolen from her workplace parking lot while she was away from it for approximately four minutes. The vehicle was locked.

Urbana

Deceptive practices were reported on the 1500 block of East California Avenue around 4 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report, an unknown offender convinced the victim to transfer money from her account to theirs. The victim transferred a large amount of money.

Burglary was reported on the 800 block of Oakland Avenue around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday. According to the report, an unknown offender entered the victim’s unlocked car and stole her purse.

Theft was reported at Family Dollar, 1110 S. Philo Road, around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report, an unknown offender stole a cell phone from an employee, while they were working and leaving their property unattended.
