University

Theft was reported at 2050 S. Orchard St., Urbana at the Orchard Downs Family Housing laundry facility between noon and 3 p.m. on Sunday. According to the report, a University student reported that her bed comforter had been stolen. The bed comforter has an estimated worth of $40.

Urbana

An arrest was made on the charge of motor vehicle theft on the 400 block of East University Avenue around 4:10 p.m. on Monday. According to the report, the arrestee stole the victim’s vehicle and was later located by the Champaign County Sheriff’s Office and transported to the Champaign County Jail.

Battery was reported on the 2000 block of Fletcher Street around 4:10 p.m. on Monday. According to the report, an unknown offender battered the victim for an unknown reason causing a minor injury.
