An arrest was made on the charges of driving under a suspended license, defacing the identifying marks of a firearm and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon in the intersection of Washington and Vine Streets around 3 p.m. on Monday. According to the report, the suspect was driving with a suspended license and agreed to have his vehicle searched. The suspect is felon and a handgun was discovered with a defaced serial number, which he was not allowed to have.
