Deceptive practices was reported on the 1100 block of Foothill Drive, around 5 p.m., Saturday. According to the report, an unknown suspect contacted the victim through email. The victim was scammed out of $2,000.

Criminal damage to property was reported on the 1400 block of Harris Avenue, around 9 a.m., Monday. According to the report, an unknown suspect keyed the victim’s car while she was working.

Forgery was reported on the 200 block of West Springfield Avenue, around 4 p.m., Monday. According to the report, an employee was reported to be stealing checks from a business and forging them.

University

Nothing to report.

Urbana

Forgery was reported on the 2200 block of Easy Street, around 9 a.m., Monday. According to the report, the victim’s daughter took and used the victim’s credit cards to purchase items without the victim’s permission.
