Police blotter Feb. 14, 2014

Champaign

— Disorderly conduct and intimidation were reported in the 00 block of Chalmers Street at around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.

According to the report, the victim posted photos on Craigslist to find dates and was threatened by a male offender.

— Domestic battery was reported in the 200 block of East Clark Street at around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.

According to the report, two subjects were in an argument and both claimed to have been battered by the other. No signs of injuries were present.

— Residential burglary was reported in the 1000 block of West Clark Street at around 6 a.m. Tuesday.

According to the report, the victim’s residence was burglarized and money and a ring were stolen.                                   

Urbana

— Disorderly conduct was reported in the 700 block of East Park Street at around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

According to the report, the victim felt that the offender was harassing her because the offender’s girlfriend has an order of protection against the victim’s daughter.

— Deceptive practices were reported in the 800 block of Philo Road at around 4 p.m. Wednesday.

According to the report, the offender called the victim claiming to be an agent from the power company. The victim paid the offender $300.

— Burglary was reported in the 1700 block of Melrose Village Circle at around 2 p.m. Wednesday.

According to the report, an unknown offender entered the victim’s apartment and stole several items. There was no one living in the apartment due to several repairs being completed at the time.
