Public indecency reported at Grainger Library

Public indecency was reported at Grainger Library around 10 p.m. Wednesday after a female studying on the second floor saw a man near her cubicle with his penis out, masturbating.
The offender then gathered his things and went to the stairwell where he changed his clothes before leaving the library, according to a public safety advisory issued by University Police.
The man is being described as a white male in his 30’s. He is approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and entered wearing blue jeans, an orange cap, a tan jacket and was carrying a black bag.
When he left the library, he was wearing khaki pants, an orange cap, a white hooded sweatshirt and was carrying a black bag, according to the report.
Any witnesses to the event, or anyone with information on the offender, are encouraged to contact the University Police Department or Crime Stoppers.
