Champaign

  • Theft was reported Sunday around 12:45 p.m. at Walmart, 2610 N. Prospect Ave. According to the report, the offender stole several DVD disks from a Wal-Mart.
  • Aggravated battery was reported Sunday at approximately 2:30 p.m. in the 2000 block of N. Prospect Ave. According to the report, the victim attempted to intervene between the offender and another person fighting and was struck by the two suspects. The victim’s cellular telephone was taken and the suspects have not been located.

University

  • A man was arrested Tuesday around 5:15 a.m. for trespassing in the Digital Computer Laboratory. According to the report, the man had previously been issued a no-trespassing notice for University property.
  • A University student was issued a state notice to appear in court for retail theft Friday around 1:30 p.m. for retail theft from the Illini Union Bookstore. According to the report, security was called after the student attempted to leave the store without paying for a book valued at $281.75.

Urbana

  • Disorderly conduct was reported in the 600 block of W. Park Street Sunday around 10:30 p.m. According to the report, the offender, who admitted to consuming alcohol, made threats to kill the victim while both of them were visiting a patient at the hospital.
  • Residential burglary and criminal damage to property was reported in the 900 block of Silver St. Sunday around 9:50 p.m. According to the report, the victim returned home to find glass to the front window broken.
