Champaign

  • Residential burglary was reported Thursday at approximately 7:15 p.m. in the 800 block of Cobblefield Road.
  • According to the report, there is no known suspect.

  • Retail theft was reported Thursday at approximately 7:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of West John Street.
  • According to the report, an unknown offender stole cigarettes.

    University

  • A University student reported that her bicycle was stolen from Davenport Hall, 607 S. Mathews Ave., between Oct. 30 and Nov. 2.
  • According to the report, the bicycle was locked to a rack and has an estimated value of $200.

  • A University student reported that cash had been stolen from her purse at approximately 2:00 a.m. on Oct. 29 on a bus near First Street and Armory Avenue.
  • According to the report, the purse had been turned into University police but the cash was missing.

    Urbana

  • Criminal damage to property was reported Saturday at approximately 9:30 a.m. in the 1700 block of East Florida Avenue.
  • According to the report, an unknown offender threw an object at the victim’s car and scratched the window.

  • Driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a suspended license and accident involving non-injury were reported Sunday at approximately 3 a.m. at the intersection of Broadway and University Avenue.
  • According to the report, the arrestee failed to reduce speed and was involved in a single vehicle accident.
