Champaign

A 28-year-old female was arrested on the charge of having no BASSET license at Chipotle, 903 W. Anthony Dr., around 3:00 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, an employee was found to not have a valid BASSET license to sell alcohol. A BASSET license is required by the state and allows servers and bouncers to check ID for alcohol. The offense was found during a covert liquor detail at the Chipotle.

Retail-theft was reported at the Mach 1 gas station, 902 W. Bloomington Road, around 8 a.m. Monday. According to the report, the subject pumped fuel and left without paying. The subject then returned the next day and paid for the fuel.

A 19-year-old was arrested for multiple charges in the 900 block of Frank Drive around midnight Saturday.

According to the report, the offender’s vehicle was stopped for an expired registration. A citation was issued after a cannabis oder was found coming from the vehicle. The driver was charged with expired registration, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A victim was attacked by an unknown male in a parking lot of a shelter in the 1300 block of Main Street around 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday. According to the report, the victim and another female may have been involved in a domestic argument.

A 24-year-old male was arrested for domestic-battery in the 800 block of Division Avenue around 8:00 a.m. Tuesday. According to the report, the arrestee battered and verbally threatened to kill the victim.

University

A theft was reported at the Illini Union Bookstore, 809 S. Wright St., around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

According to the report, a college-aged woman was observed on security cameras concealing a booklet, which has a retail value of $4.95.

A theft was reported at the Activities and Recreation Center, 201 E. Peabody Drive, between 11:20 and 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report, a student’s wallet was stolen, which contained cash and banking cards. The wallet was left unattended near a basketball court.
