Champaign
An aggravated assault was reported near the intersection of Paula Drive and Garden Hills Drive around 1:30 a.m. on Thursday. According to the report, a vehicle pulled up next to the victim on the street and the unknown offender pointed a gun at them.
An armed robbery was reported in the 1300 block of Joanne Lane around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, the victim and offender got into a heated argument. The offender reportedly then brandished a firearm, pushed the victim to the ground and then stole the victim’s cell phone.
University
A theft was reported at University High School, 1212 W. Springfield Ave., around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, one of the high school employees reported a school-owned laptop, with an estimated value of $300, was stolen. The laptop had been loaned out to a student of the school and had been left unattended outside of a locker.

A theft was reported at the Illini Union Bookstore, 809 S. Wright St., at around 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, security cameras in the store showed the offender concealing multiple office supplies with a retail value of $60.69.
Urbana
An attempted forgery was reported at Burger King, 1106 W. University Ave., around 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, an unknown offender attempted to use a fake $50-dollar-bill to pay for his meal.
A theft was reported in the 300 block of Stebbins Dr. around 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, an unknown offender stole several items of jewelry from the victim’s bedroom. The other offender, a 28-year-old female, was found to have an outstanding warrant and was then arrested on that charge.
