Champaign

Criminal damage to property was reported on the 1300 block of Walnut around 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, the 36-year-old female was arrested for damaging the building and glass.

Fraud was reported on the 400 block of Fifth St. around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, the victim was scammed out of money.

Domestic battery was reported on the 300 block of Green St. around 2:15 on Wednesday. According to the report, the two subjects engaged in an argument over the thermostat which escalated in the the 23-year-old female offender hitting the victim in the head  and was arrested.

Two arrests were made on the 100 block of Green St. around 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, the 18-year-old male and 20-year-old female were charged with cases of theft and fraud. On Mar. 6, the two arrestees bought designer shoes at the Student Dining and Residential Programs building, 301 E. Gregory Dr., but they never paid the seller. The male arrestee arranged to sell the shoes in Minnesota, but he collected the money and did not mail out the shoes. He was also arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

Theft was reported at Illinois Street Residence Hall, 1012 W. Illinois St. According to the report, the victim’s bicycle was left unlocked outside the residence hall and stolen on April 9.

Urbana

A domestic dispute was reported on the 1600 block of Trails Dr. around 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, the 34-year-old offender and the victim are roommates and engaged in a verbal argument over the use of a vehicle.

Theft was reported on the 400 block of Oregon St. around 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. According to the report, an unknown offender stole the victim’s two bicycles, worth over $500.
