Champaign

A residential burglary was reported in the 900 block of South Mattis Avenue around 9 p.m. on Monday. According to the report, the unknown offender stole the victim’s DVD player from their apartment.

A 20-year-old male was arrested on the charge of criminal damage to property in the 100 block of Kenwood Road around 3 p.m. Monday. According to the report, the victim reported that multiple offenders came to their residence in search of allegedly stolen pork chops and chicken. The arrestee kicked the victim’s window of their residence and was subsequently sent to jail.

University

A 21-year-old male was arrested on the charges of aggravated battery, criminal damage to property and for being an intoxicated pedestrian in the roadway near Armory Avenue and Wright Street around 2:30 p.m. Saturday. According to the report, police officers were called to the scene after several witnesses reported the arrestee jumping on cars and trying to fight other individuals. The arrestee also reportedly tore a window from a victim’s vehicle and punched the driver.

A 25-year-old male was arrested on the charges of criminal damage to property and resisting arrest at the I-Hotel and Conference Center, 1900 S. First St., around 11 p.m. Monday. According to the report, police received reports that the arrestee was damaging vehicles in the parking lot of the hotel. He initially ran from police when they arrived at the scene and ordered him to stop.

Urbana

A domestic dispute was reported in the 100 block of East Main Street around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. According to the report, both offenders live together and are in a romantic relationship. They both engaged in a mutual domestic dispute and were separated by police and issued a DVA form.

A 21-year-old female was arrested for reckless driving in the 1700 block of North Lincoln Avenue around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. According to the report, the arrestee and victim live together and are in a dating relationship. They engaged in a verbal argument and the arrestee reportedly tried to throw a brick at the victim’s car. The arrestee then hit the victim’s car with her vehicle and reportedly almost hit the victim.
