Champaign

Criminal damage to property was reported on the 1300 block of Paula Drive around 8:30 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, the victim’s house was shot and damaged by a pellet gun.

An arrest for theft was reported at Chili’s, 1905 N. Prospect Ave., around 2:30 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, the victim realized his iPad was missing and used a tracking device on an application to find the offender in possession of the iPad.

University

An arrest for aggravated battery was reported at Allen Hall, 1005 W. Gregory Drive around 7 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, the victim was battered in the face.

An arrest for possession of more than 100 grams of cannabis and drug paraphernalia, as well as an arrest for the possession of fraudulent identification and the possession of drug paraphernalia were reported at Lundgren Hall, 1201 S. Fourth St., around 6 p.m. Saturday. According to the report, police were initially called by residence hall staff who noticed a strong odor of cannabis coming from the students’ room.

Urbana

Criminal damage to property was reported on the 1300 block of Silver Street around 10 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, an unknown offender kicked in the locked door to the apartment building’s laundry room.

Criminal damage to property was reported on the 800 block of N. Coler Avenue around 8 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, the offender broke the window to the victim’s vehicle after being told that they would not give him a ride.
