Champaign

Criminal damage to property was reported at Wingin Out, 301 E. Green St., around 1 a.m. Friday. According to the report, the offender shattered a glass door to the business and was later arrested.

Burglary from a motor vehicle was reported on the 400 block of Ginger Bend Drive around 7 p.m. Thursday. According to the report, the offender was seen inside someone else’s vehicle and was trying to open the door. The offender left when someone yelled at him.

Retail theft was reported at Village Pantry, 1201 N. Mattis Ave., around 7:30 p.m. Thursday. According to the report, the offender was seen stealing cash from the register while working. The offender was later arrested.

University

Urbana

Theft under $500 was reported on the 1200 block of West University Avenue around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. According to the report, the offender took U.S. currency from the victim’s coat.

Domestic dispute was reported on the 1000 block of East Kerr Avenue around 2:30 a.m. Thursday. According to the report, the arrestee and the victim live together and got into a verbal dispute. When officers arrived, they noticed a substantial amount of marijuana, which belonged to the arrestee.
