Theft was reported on the 400 block of Elm Street around 2 p.m. Monday. According to the report, the victim reported her bike was stolen. She was unsure if the bike was locked to the bike rack.

Theft was reported on the 800 block of Kerr Avenue around 7 p.m. Monday. According to the report, the unknown offender stole two bicycles belonging to the victim that had been secured to a tree near his apartment.

Urbana

An 18-year-old male was issued a state of Illinois notice to appear in court for theft at the Illini Union Bookstore, 809 S. Wright St., Champaign, around 9 p.m. Monday. According to the report, the man attempted to leave the store without paying for classroom materials with a retail value of $77.49.

Theft was reported at the Coordinated Science Laboratory, 1308 W. Main St., Urbana, between noon and 6 p.m. Thursday. According to the report, the bicycle, which has an estimated value of $325, was locked to a rack.

Property damage was reported at Taft Hall, 1213 S. Fourth St., Champaign, around 9:30 p.m. Monday. According to the report, a University housing security guard reported someone had broken a stairwell window. The estimated cost to replace the window is $200.
