Champaign

Theft was reported on the 1400 block of Paula Drive around 4:30 a.m. Monday. According to the report, the offender forced entry through a porch window but did not proceed beyond the porch.

Theft was reported on the 00 block of East University Avenue around 8 p.m. Saturday. According to the report, the victim’s license plate was stolen off the vehicle. The suspect has been identified but has refused all police contacts.

Possession of a controlled substance and aggravated battery were reported on the 2600 block of West Springfield Avenue around midnight Monday. Two males were observed fighting in the parking lot. One suspect fled prior to being identified.

Theft was reported at the Ikenberry Commons, 301 E. Gregory Drive, around 5 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, a student reported a parking pass had been stolen from his motorcycle.

Urbana

Theft was reported at Lincoln Square Mall, 201 Lincoln Square, around 9:30 a.m. Monday. According to the report, the offender entered the victim’s vehicle and stole items.

Criminal defacement of property was reported on the 1400 block of Silver Street around 8:30 a.m. Monday. According to the report, the offender hit the victim’s vehicle with eggs in an apartment parking lot.
