Champaign

Criminal damage to property and burglary from a motor vehicle were reported on the 4500 block of Copper Ridge Road around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday. According to the report, the victim reported her vehicle was broken into and her purse was taken.

Aggravated domestic battery was reported on the 2400 block of North Neil Street around 7 p.m. Wednesday. According to the report, a boyfriend and his pregnant girlfriend were involved in a physical fight. The boyfriend fled before police arrived.

Harassment by telephone was reported on the 1000 block of Harvard Street around 7 p.m. Wednesday. According to the report, the police were called to a residence for a violation of the order of protection. However, no order of protection had been served.

Theft was reported at the D-9 parking lot, 906 W. Illinois St., Thursday. According to the report, a University employee reported several items and cash were stolen from his car, which he thinks was unlocked at the time. All the items stolen have an estimated value of $820.
