Champaign

Theft was reported on the 200 block of Arcadia Drive around 2 p.m. Wednesday. According to the report, the victim claimed her car was stolen by a suspect, who she knew.

Criminal damage to property was reported on the 2100 block of West White Street around 6 a.m. Friday. According to the report, an offender broke out the back window of the victim’s vehicle.

Theft was reported on the 1700 block of Valley Road around 11 a.m. Sunday. According to the report, the victim reported her vehicle was stolen. The theft is linked to a domestic call where the victim’s boyfriend, the suspect, left with the victim’s vehicle. On the night of the domestic call, the vehicle was located but the suspect and car keys were not. The vehicle is now gone from the found location.

Theft was reported at the Illini Union Bookstore, 809 S. Wright St., around 5 p.m. Thursday. According to the report, a store security personnel reported the suspect left the store with a $3.26 notebook without paying for it. The suspect was issued a state of Illinois notice to appear in court for retail theft.

Theft was reported at Grainger Engineering Library, 1301 W. Springfield Ave., around 4 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, the victim left his laptop computer, estimated to be $600 in value, unattended in a study area.

Urbana

Speeding was reported on Cottage Grove Avenue and Main Street around 4 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, the offender was driving a motor vehicle and disregarded a stop sign. An officer activated emergency lights to pull the driver over. The vehicle pulled over and fled at a high rate of speed. The vehicle has not been located.
