Deceptive practices were reported at Brothers Bar and Grill, 613 E. Green St., around midnight Friday. According to the report, a suspect tried to use a counterfeit bill.

Theft was reported at Sherman Hall, 909 S. Fifth St., on Friday. According to the report, a University student reported that cash from her wallet was stolen between Sunday and Wednesday. The wallet was in the student’s residence suite, which is shared with other students.
