Unlawful use of a weapon by a felon on the 1700 block of Pheasant Ridge Drive around 7:30 p.m. Friday. According to the report, police detectives and street crimes task force officers conducted a search. A loaded firearm was discovered during the search.

A theft was reported at Walmart Supercenter, 2610 N. Prospect Ave., around 2:30 p.m. Sunday. According to the report, the offender tried to steal 14 items from Walmart Supercenter. The offender dropped the items when confronted by a Walmart employee. No arrests have been made at this time.

Illegal dumping was reported on the 1000 block of Harvard Street around 9 a.m. Tuesday. According to the report, two box springs and a couch were illegally dumped on the victim’s property. The dumping damaged the garage siding of the property. The suspect is unknown.
